What is it about?
Ondansetron and paracetamol are often co-administrated to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by anaesthesia and to control of postoperative pain. Selective and sensitive method for their simultaneous analysis is of a great importance.

Why is it important?
For the first time, we designed nanosensor for simultaneous quantitation of studied drugs found in real samples at very different concentration levels. The graphitized multi-walled carbon nanotubes embedded in a cation exchange polymer matrix was selected to design novel sensor.
Perspectives
We hope that developed sensor will have potential usage in pharmaceutical quality control of fixed-dose combination of both drugs and clinical research as promising sensing platform with a fast response time for analysis.
