What is it about?
Mental disorders are severe complicated disorders. Schizophrenia is one of the most baffling mental disorders. Our current research showed that novel synthesized compounds had a wide range of atypical antipsychotic activity. Generally, electron-withdrawing atoms that were present in some compounds showed good activity and binding affinity at serotonergic receptors, and these substitutions also showed good activity at dopaminergic receptors. However, it was less than serotonergic which was the hypothesis of atypicality of antipsychotic agents.

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to rare disease groups contacting me and ultimately to a greater involvement in rare disease research. We tried to put novel approach against targeted disease.
