What is it about?

A number of N-containing heterocyclic compounds constitute important building blocks in organic and medicinal chemistry. 1,2,4-triazole is a heterocyclic compound consists of an aromatic five-membered ring comprising two carbon atoms and three nitrogen atoms. 1,2,4-triazole derivatives are well known for their various biological activities such as anti-convulsant, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-cancer.
