What is it about?

Human genome variation plays an important role in cellular function, hence affecting the human biology. This affects all human phenotype and activities such as response to environmental factors including foods and medicine. Therefore, every body has its own identity based in terms of interaction and response to all chemicals, physical and even microbial factors.

Why is it important?

Topoisomerase II as one of the most important molecular targets for chemotherapy drugs, can function differently in different individuals because of some genomic variations.

Perspectives

Based on the human genome variations, new versions of drugs and medicine appropriate to individual genomes should be designed.
