What is it about?
MRP-2 is a protein responsible for resistance towards anticancer and antimicrobial drugs. Here we developed a model based on machine learning which can predict whether a new molecule will be a substrate of MRP-2 or not.

Why is it important?
The dataset used for making prediction model in this study is highly validated and cross-checked
Perspectives
I hope this article will help in the early stages of drug discovery so that the lead compounds which might be the substrate of MRP-2 can be removed from the lead library
