What is it about?

I started my study: first in child and adolescent psychiatry and then M.Phil. degree, University of London, UK, 1996 and 1997, respectively, and cognitive behavior therapy, Middle Sex Hospital, University College of London (UCL), UK (1998), and as a sub-specialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Institute of Psychiatry, University of London, UK (1999). I was founding and Chief Editor of the Iranian Journal of Psychiatry (IJP) and is currently the Editor and in the editorial board of many national and international journals.

Why is it important?

My research interests have included clinical trial, psychiatry epidemiology, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), spiritual psychotherapy and clinical aspects of Autism Spectrum disorders (ASD), and ADHD. My most recent studies have looked for the clinical trial, the therapeutic effects of the drugs and new drugs for ASD and ADHD and also studied teaching and doing research in the fields of Life therapy and spiritual psychotherapy.

Perspectives

I work as a Professor of child and adolescent psychiatry, cognitive and life therapist at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Iran, and the Chair of Psychiatry and Psychology Research Center. I have authored more than 280 articles, 24 books, and some book chapters, and served on 12 editorial boards. I am doing over 32 years of experience in the psychiatry, psychopathology, psychotherapy and neurosciences. Mohammadi has served as a teacher, administrator, researcher, and university faculty member.
