What is it about?
Cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, are major health challenges worldwide. One of the difficulties in treating these conditions is getting medicines to the right place in the body, in case of brain, this become more complicated as it has a protective barrier that prevents many drugs from entering. This review explores how nanoparticles—extremely small particles that can help transport medicines—may improve drug delivery and treatment effectiveness. It discusses different types of nanoparticles, their potential applications in cancer and neurological disorders, and the latest developments in this field. The review also explains the challenges that must be addressed to make these approaches safer and more effective for future medical use.

Why is it important?
Recent advances in science and nanotechnology showing new pathways for solving existing health problems. This review highlights the growing potential of nanotechnology to overcome some of the limitations by improving drug delivery, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness, and helping medicines reach difficult-to-access sites, including the brain. By bringing together advances in different nanoparticle-based approaches, the article provides a useful overview for researchers, healthcare professionals, and others interested in emerging treatments. It also examines important challenges related to safety, efficacy, and production, helping identify areas where further research is needed to translate promising nanotechnology-based strategies into effective clinical treatments.
Perspectives
Ongoing and established researches across the globe suggested that drug reaching to target site is one of the core questions for the treatment of cancer and neurological disorders for obvious limitations, but developments in nanotech science allowing us to answer this problem with more accuracy and precision than ever. Here, we discussed how different types of nanoparticles like Liposomes, Quantum dots, SL Nanoparticles, Dendrimers, etc making difference and offering new possibilities for more targeted and effective therapies. I hope this review encourages further research, promotes new ideas in nanomedicine, and contributes to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies that may ultimately benefit patients.
