Perspectives
Exploring indole-based compounds has deepened my appreciation for how small structural changes can lead to significant biological impacts. Writing this review allowed me to reflect on the remarkable versatility of the indole scaffold in drug discovery. I hope it inspires further research and innovation in medicinal chemistry, especially in the areas of synthesis and structure–activity relationships.
