What is it about?
Utilization of health services during COVID-19 pandemic compare to previous years. Community services as visits in primary physicians, secondary physicians or hospital services as ambulatory visits were screened from 2018 to the end of 2020. The screening include real world data of Meuhedet Health Services, the third largest sick fund in Israel.

Why is it important?
To understand how to implement new technologies to patients in order to maintain health services during pandemic
Perspectives
People and patients prevented themselves from health services in community and hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reason was the great danger to be infected in the virus. Health services needed immediately to developed digital and telemedicine services in order to maintain normal health services especially in chronic patients. The real world data of this publication was a great pleasure to understand to success of Meuhedet Health Services in implementing new technologies for the patients health.
