Why is it important?
We hypothesize that Dendropanax contains a large amount of phenolic compound that coats the surface of gold nanoparticles and has the ability to reduce the excess amount of lipid in both cell lines.
Perspectives
Green synthesized D-AuNPs showed low toxicity in both cell lines examined in this study. This efficacy might be due to reduced particle size. Significantly increased anti-lipid accumulation caused by downregulation of STAT3/PPARγ/CEBPα pathways may have phytochemicals coated to the surface area of gold nanoparticles.
