What is it about?
Proteins are tagged with various agents for analyzing their locations and for visualization purposes. This tagging is done at amino, carboxy terminals ends or via side chain of specific amino acid/s. These tagged proteins are easy to quantify and / or visualize under microscope or naked eyes.

Why is it important?
This review article is highly relevant in protein research under various physiological conditions and also to study their functional implications in disease conditions as well as in normal development and metabolism. These are also useful for tracking specific proteins and their pathway analyses.
Perspectives
While writing this review I gained a lot of knowledge and inside information of specific proteins and their post-translational modifications relevant to health and disease.
