Why is it important?
This article is important because resources on this earth are are now being diminishing rapidly for agriculture like shortage of water, reduction in fertile soil and increase of contaminants in the atmosphere. It is need of hour to use OMIC technologies to improve crop production and protect the world from global food shortage.

I hope that this review article has explained all these difficult OMICS technologies in a very easy and engaging way. Such review articles are the need of hour to make the people informed about the recent developments in these technologies in any part of the world. In this way, they can take steps to use these technologies in their countries at the earliest.
