What is it about?
The Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has emerged in a small group of workers working in a wet market and then spread all over the world leading a major pandemic in the World. The story of mysterious pneumonia caused serious public health burden and the WHO declared the COVID-19 as Pandemic. The WHO and CDC are constantly monitoring the situation and giving interim guidelines for managing the COVID-19.

Why is it important?
Through this paper, we summarized the available evidence in a short form and also provided the CDC guidelines for identifying, treating and preventing the COVID-19 infection.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long-standing collaborations. This article also lead to an emerging condition of COVID-19 disease groups contacting me and ultimately to greater involvement in COVID-19 disease research.
