What is it about?
The PEEK is an aromatic, polycyclic thermoplastic semi-crystalline high-performance polymer (HPP) with superior wear resistance, great processability, inertness, high strength, and modulus of elasticity. It was retained at high temperatures and is suitable as an alternative dental material for metal, zirconia, glass, and CoCr with ceramics.

Why is it important?
The wear of complete overdenture telescopic copies is the main factor in prosthesis retention loss, so it is important to distinguish the appropriate material with minimal wear. Incorporating Zirconia-PEEK copies can enhance the wear resistance of the telescopic copies of the implant-retained mandibular overdenture.
Perspectives
This article focused on a new prosthodontic material that applied as an attachment in the cases of implant overdentures. hope this paper explains and clears all the data available. Dr; Hamada Z Mahross Atia
