Our findings demonstrate the relationship between numerous diseases in different compartments and reveal critical genes, pathways, or even comparable mitochondrial functions that might contribute to disease. It can benefit the scientific community to have them thoroughly summarised.


Writing the article was a delight because it features co-authors with whom I have long associated. The paper also served as a good starting point for discovering answers to those disorders and, ultimately, increased participation in scientific research.
