What is it about?

An efficient biosorbent containing magnetic nanoparticles, walnut shell powder, foam, and alginate (AMWSF) was prepared and used in Pb(II) removal. The adsorption process was performed in an airlift magnetic separation loop system.

Why is it important?

AMWSF can be efficiently reused up to seven times because of the airlift magnetic separation loop system that does not cause shear force damage to AMWSF. AMWSF was found to be an efficient adsorbent for Pb(II) removal in an airlift magnetic separation loop system.

Perspectives

I hope this article can help the peers and appeal to all walks of life to pay attention to the dangers of heavy metals in the water.
