What is it about?
Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the most important environmental pollutants which has recalcitrant character. We have studied its removal by the ozonation process which is one of the best treatment alternative (an AOP technique) in order to eliminate recalcitrant pollutants under low dose ozone and three different pH conditions. Not only its removal has been monitored but also degradation by-products and mineralization has been studied under three pH conditions. Both GCMS and HPLC chromatograms have been used to discuss the removal mechanism of BPA.
