Why is it important?
Cellulose based polymers, completely soluble, were obtained with different charge (degree of subsitution) and tested in an effluent which had not been considered so far - coloured effluent resulting from the use of different dyes.
Perspectives
The publication deals with the modification of cellulose to obtain cationic polymers. The modifiction was carried out using always the less harsh strategy. The application, treatment of coloured effluents, is also new for this type of polymers.
