What is it about?

Data uncertainty is an important component in water decision-making, but it is often ignored. This paper examines the use of an extension of ELECTRE III, a multi-criteria decision analysis method, to address this issue.

Why is it important?

We applied our extension of ELECTRE III method to the evaluation of water supply and sewerage services in Spain. Our findings show that this approach can be interesting when dealing with statistical data uncertainty.
