Why is it important?

This type of work was important because a parallel benefit was obtained, on the one hand, it helped to reduce the pollution that is discarded to the river and the other benefit was the cultivation of ornamental plants, which generate an extra income

Perspectives

The future work is to study these systems more, to study who is reducing the contamination of the residual water, is it the complete plant, the root tissue, the leaves or the substrate? Do ornamental plants suffer any alteration when exposed to wastewater? What are the biomolecules that are activated when the plant is exposed to wastewater?
