Why is it important?
Iran has always suffered from inefficient agriculture that heavily relies on irrigation and consumes most of the country’s limited water resources. Thus, finding a supply method for new demands is a key question for policy-makers and water resource planners. In order to solve the aforesaid challenges, three major solutions have been proposed in Iran. one of them is stabilization of tradable water rights and formation and strengthening of the water markets. so, we can show in this paper that water permit trading can be an effective solution is case study or not from released water's view.
