What is it about?

The provision of potable water in rural communities has not been given the highest investment by the Kenyan government. The devolution of the governance system in Kenya places the responsibility of water provision in the County government. The study outlines the perception of the community and assess the risks that exist due to low investment in water provision.

The responsibility of any government system is to improve the health and socio-economic well being of its people. The recommendation is that more should be done by the Kenya and County governments to provide potable water and improve sanitation
