What is it about?

A particular household water filter was widely distributed throughout rural areas in Fiji. This paper investigates the use of the filters by users and how well the filters performed in field settings. We found that significant rates of filter breakage, inconsistent use by users, and poor quality of already-filtered water likely limits the intended health benefits of the filter.
