What is it about?

Aquifers are of very diverse nature with even complicated boundary conditions. There are several analytical and semi-analytical solutions available for very specific conditions that may arise in the aquifer system; however there is not one single solution that fits all range of confined aquifer problems. This article presents a generalized model that can solve range of confined aquifer problems without making any change in the model.

Why is it important?

This model will be a generalized solution and therefore address all range of problems in confined aquifers. The model doesn't need any change or modification unlike current state of art where separate models are available to solve specific problems.
