What is it about?

Data, models and decisions are all important for managing complex and precious water resources. But they are not useful when isolated from each other. Why is it important?

Water systems of the future will come under increasing pressure to provide water for society and the economy on top of the environment. Making sure there is enough to go round is a complex task, necessitating lots of data collection, modelling and ultimately decisions about who is allocated what and when Therefore managing knowledge in an uncertain future helps build resilience into these systems to ensure needs are sustainably met.
