What is it about?
Although there are some studies on coagulation mechanism using magnesium hydroxide as a coagulant in reactive dyes system, there have been limited studies on proportion of adsorptive coagulating mechanism. The adsorptive coagulation mechanism and proportion of adsorptive are discussed in this paper.

Why is it important?
During the coagulation process, magnesium hydroxide-reactive orange flocs were aggregated mainly through charge-neutralization and adsorptive mechanisms.
Perspectives
The author designed the experimental process and analyzed coagulation mechanism.
