What is it about?
Developing a mathematical model that represents the hydrological conditions for the protection and management of groundwater in the Lower Miocene aquifer in the Wadi El Farigh area to prevent the lowering of the groundwater level which may lead to deterioration in groundwater quality.

Why is it important?
Our findings indicate that no more wells have been drilled in the study region. Reducing the pumping well discharge rates to about 35 m3/h on average for each well
Perspectives
I'm hoping that the study will highlight the importance of managing and preserving groundwater through mathematical modeling.
