Why is it important?

The results show that, based on the organization's vision and mission, there are 12 strategic objectives to be achieved, supported by 22 measurement indicators that are appropriately implemented at Sekolah XYZ. In addition, the BSC design includes a validation system and an evaluation system to support its implementation at Sekolah XYZ.

Perspectives

This research is valuable because it demonstrates how schools can move beyond traditional methods of measuring success. By using the Balanced Scorecard, educational institutions like Sekolah XYZ can adopt a more holistic approach to evaluating their performance—not only focusing on finances but also considering other perspectives. I find this approach particularly important in today’s education system, where continuous improvement and accountability are crucial. It also illustrates that even non-profit organizations can benefit from structured performance tools typically used in the business world.
