Why is it important?
Depression after TBI is prevalent and has a significant impact on people's lives, but treating and managing it after injury present unique challenges. Understanding these challenges and the factors contributing to post-TBI depression will help us improve treatment and management to reduce the impact of post-TBI depression on individuals' lives.
Perspectives
Finding better ways to treat and manage post-TBI depression is critical to improving the lives of individuals with TBI. Doing so will require an interdisciplinary and personalized approach.
