There is limited research about patient perspectives in this group. Patient education must be based on needs and prefernces as they are experienced by the target group. And hardly reached groups have specific preferences and needs.

Taking these persoectives into account when developing and practising education in hardly reached groups is likely to have a positive impact on the outcomes for the target group.
