What is it about?

Although sutureless vitrectomy is shown to be a safe surgery, some cases suffers subconjunctival silicone escape. We found that if this was closer to the limbus by 2 mm or less, there is higher risk to develop dellen. We recommend prompt evacuation of this subconjunctival silicone bubbles.
