What is it about?
Terpenoids are the active ingredient of tea tree oil, effective in killing eyelid mites. However, they may sting a lot if exposed to the surface of the eye. So user experience is important.

Why is it important?
It is necessary to know how patients learn to use these wipes. We compared 2 methods: using live demonstrations vs online videos.
Perspectives
Patient education and prevention of deterioration of ocular surface disease are important because in the future, there is less opportunity for the majority of dry eye sufferers to be educated and managed by specialists. Online videos may be more efficient than in person demonstrations for the purpose above.
