What is it about?

Fluorescein angiography is a useful examination in patients suffering from diabetic retinopathy; however, the traditional techniques do not provide much information on the peripheral retina, which is highly affected by diabetic retinopathy. To overcome these pitfalls, ultra-wide-field imaging has been developed. In this narrative review, we provide an overview of ultra-wide-field fluorescein angiography in diabetic retinopathy.
