What is it about?

idiopathic polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (IPCV, PCV) is a disease of macula that can progress and damage vision in just few months. Some patients do not noticed any change at early stage, and know the existence of the disease at late, untreatable stage.

Why is it important?

IPCV is a common retina disease in elders. More common in asian ethnic, compared to caucasians. early treatment offer a lot better outcome and prevent blindness.
