What is it about?
Seizure-related cardiac arrhythmias are frequently reported and have been implicated as potential mechanisms underlying SUDEP. To date, only in a few cases of VF arising from a seizure, near-SUDEP has been reported. We report another case of VF after convulsive seizure.

Why is it important?
we report a rare case of VF that was been successfully managed using defibrillation with an automatic external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after a convulsive seizure.
Perspectives
I hope our case report will be a small addition to future SUDEP mechanism studies in epileptic seizures.
