What is it about?

We have achieved several things in this publication, namely, synthesized small and easy to reproduce magnetically controlled protein nanocontainers, load them with aminocaproic acid, and show their ability to release the drug by measuring fibrin clot lysis rates.

Why is it important?

This is the first work to describe targeted antifibrinolytic drug, as well as one from a small number of works dedicated to protein nanocontainers. We also were able to fabricate tiny protein nanoparticles with sizes 20 nm, which act as structural blocks for nanocontainers.
