Why is it important?
The lack of valid tools to assess nightmares limits the development of nightmare research in China. The development of a Chinese version of the VDAS may be helpful in promoting the nightmare-related studies in the Chinese population and further promote the development and improvement of the scale.
Perspectives
Future study should confirm the reliability and validity in clinical population and further improve this scale, for example, supplementing the cutoff point.
