Soya oil-based shampoo superior to 0.5% permethrin lotion for head louse infestation [Corrigendum]

What is it about?

This is a correction of our publication because we found that we had been misled into stating that the shampoo we tested contained soya oil, whereas in actuality it did not and probably only acted against lice through the concentrated detergents in the shampoo left on the head for a long period.

Why is it important?

It is important because a lot of people could have been misled into thinking soya oil has an effect on head lice. It was also imporntat to make the correction on grounds of scientific integrity.
