Why is it important?

Advanced training for allied health professionals is critical to supporting evolving models of care in the management of arthritis and serves to optimize client access to the right care at the right time by the right clinician.

Perspectives

ACPAC trained healthcare professionals effectively serve the needs of people with arthritis and their contributions are well recognized and valued in the Rheumatology community. The training program offers a model of professional development that can be applied to many other chronic diseases where extended practice roles add value, both at the clinical and system level of care.
