What is it about?

Training students of health related field to work together as team for the benefit of the patient . The training method chosen was by role play or simulation. This training mainly concentrated on rural and remote set up.

Why is it important?

The knowledge of why, when and how to communicate with other professional to get the optimum outcome in patient care is very important. This is particularly important in rural areas as not poor team work may go unnoticed and lead to poor patient outcome.

Perspectives

This publication tried to asses effectiveness of simulation based education as a tool to emphasize the importance of multi disciplinary approach in rural area among the students of health related fields. These experiences may entourage them to work together in the future.
