What is it about?

Antioxidant effects of pravastatin, being one of the statins, is associating its hyoplipidemic effect in the evening administration rather than morning administration. Thus dual action of pravastatin could be of benficial clinical impact on hyperlipidemic patients especially who suffering from concommitant diseases related to oxidative stress eg hypertension or diabetes mellitus.
