Gold nanoparticles are widely used in biomedical applications. We have shown for the first time that they can cause epigenetic deregulation in rat lung which can cause pulmonary injury.

Our results is very important for the intravenous use of gold nanoparticles in animals and human where precautions should be applied to avoid lung thrombosis.

I hope that article will be really important in the field of biomedical applications of gold nanoparticles specially it has taken from us a lot of efforts to produce a reliable results.
