What is it about?

Hydroxyapatite is a well-known biomaterial for different biomedical application such as tissue engineering, drug delivery etc. Magnetite is also a well-known biomaterial for biomedical imaging and targeted drug delivery application. The combination of magnetite and hydroxyapatite is a very promising biomaterial for multifunctional biological application from Tissue engineering to drug delivery and bioimaging.

Why is it important?

This type of review work is possibly the first time we are performing with magnetic hydroxyapatite for biomedical application. All the work performed and established by different researchers are collaborating together and reported in this review article.

Perspectives

This work is very updated and most important applications are cited in this article. For future researchers, it will be a great platform to revise all the previous work done by magnetic hydroxyapatite in a single view.
