Why is it important?
diabetes is associated with longterm micro-vascular and macro-vascular complications. In-spite of treatment with available drugs the long term complications still occur making the life of the patients miserable. Garlic contains a variety of effective compounds, such as allicin, a sulfur-containing compound that exhibits anticoagulant, antithrombotic, antioxidant, hypocholesterolemic, hypoglycemic, and hypo-tensive activities. Thus addition of the both the agents can prevent such complications when taken together.
