What is it about?

Reducing exacerbation is key to COPD patients. This study looked at the impact of a LAMA/LABA treatment course of IND/GLY to reduce exacerbation rates. We considered the impact of exacerbation history and showed the positive impact of the study treatment to reduce exacerbation rates.

Why is it important?

COPD is and does impact one's overall health status. This but increased importance on providing personalized effective treatment options to reduce further declines. Exploring new treatment options and their impact on exacerbation responses allows for the creation of more patient centered treatment plans.

Perspectives

This study builds off the work of the FLAME study to investigate the impact of IND/GLY for patients with moderate to very severe COPD.
