What is it about?

Nutrition has a profound impact on brain health. Restricting calories, fasting, and changing macronutrient dietary ratios have been shown to have beneficial effects on brain health. This paper examines the role of these nutritional interventions in rodent brain health with a particular focus on memory testing.

Why is it important?

By changing something as simple as a dietary pattern or habit, one can heighten brain health. This is important because medications may not be necessary to hinder the onset of brain disease. Therefore quality of life and brain health can be improved with something as simple as what an organism consumes.

Perspectives

I was very happy to write this paper. There are authors who are experts in nutrition, aging, brain health, and neuroscience who provided input and helped me. I hope you enjoy reading this paper!
