What is it about?

A cohort of 4,069 patients with IgA nephropathy (IgAN) from Swedish biopsy registers was collected for this study. The diagnosis was validated through review of patient charts from 127 randomly selected patients. The positive predictive value (PPV) of a biopsy consistent with IgAN was 95%. Clinical characteristics of the cohort are in line with earlier studies.
