What is it about?

This study reflects the results of 2 surveys: one is for internal medicine residents' perception towards point-of-care ultrasound training during residency, and the second one is a result of image interpretation test to evaluate residents baseline knowledge before we start a curriculum to train residents on point-of-care ultrasoound.

Why is it important?

It shows how medical school training on point-of-care ultrasound improves residents confidence and image interpretation skills, and it also how residents are interested in bedside ultrasound training.

Perspectives

The role of POCUS for general internal medicine and growing and I love using it for my daily work. It would be great if residency programs start working on developing curriculae for their residents.
