What is it about?
The importance of longer term considerations and benefits weighed against short- termist benefits...... Whilst ongoing trade wars appears to be leaning towards compromises which controversially are also being contested because of national security interests, it appears difficult to reconcile those matters which affect home based producers - particularly in relation to those products (brands) which are assembled abroad - and are likely to be affected by protectionist stances and tariff hikes. Particularly technological products which have thin profit margins and which are assembled abroad because of lower production or labor costs. In such scenarios more accommodative stances and policies - or (temporary) licences may be granted to such home based/ domestic producers.........

Why is it important?
Because many popular products and much loved games/technological brands are partly assembled in other jurisdictions affected by ongoing trade wars...................................
Perspectives
The need to extend accommodative trade policies - which whilst protecting national interests, do not compromise national security.
