What is it about?
Peer Evaluation is a collaborative learning technique in which students evaluate their peers' speaking performance and have their work evaluated by peers. This method gives students feedback on the quality of their work, often with ideas and strategies for improvement. This paper examines if the use of peer evaluation in oral presentation at the university level may enhance students' speaking performance.

Why is it important?
The findings of the study suggest that Peer Evaluation empowers students to evaluate the performance of their peers in a manner comparable to those of the teachers. The responses from the questionnaires given to the students show that the evaluation and comments given by them were considered fair, useful and sufficient. Results also suggest that students strongly agree to the use of this methodology because comments and evaluations given are useful for making improvements. Nevertheless, the students preferred teachers to peers to evaluate their performance in the discussion and they wanted to get more instructive comments from the teachers.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure for me and I hope this article can give insights to the teachers at the higher level of education when scoring their students' speaking performance.
